Liturgical Vessels

Sacred liturgical vessels are held in special honor, especially the chalice and paten, in which the bread and wine are offered and consecrated, and from which they are consumed. Ciboria, flagons and monstrances are also important sacred vessels as they all are used in the presentation and distribution of the consecrated bread and wine. Other vessels needed during a variety of Catholic liturgies include cruets for the wine and water, oil stocks and chrismal sets to store and distribute holy oils and portable Mass kits.
